Devon Pratt is an associate attorney at Capobianco Law Offices, P.C. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University, where he was a Research Assistant at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. Devon received his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he competed at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. Devon also volunteered during law school with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and the General Assistance Advocacy Project, receiving his degree with pro bono society recognition.
Prior to joining Capobianco Law Offices, P.C., Devon served four and a half years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate. He brings the same high level of dedication to his civilian practice that he brought to both prosecuting and defending service members and advising senior officials on policy matters at the Pentagon. Devon was recognized by the Commandant of the Marine Corps as the 2016 legal assistance attorney of the year for his work providing civil legal services to active duty military personnel, military families, deploying units, and military retirees. He currently serves as a reservist with 1st Civil Affairs Group at Camp Pendleton, California.
Devon is admitted to practice law in California, military courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California. He is a member of the American Bar Association and a life member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
